Nesta página pode apreciar trabalhos artesanais que incorporam diversos materiais e tradições locais (S. Miguel - Açores), sendo a rocha vulcânica o elemento principal. A rocha é escolhida e usada com a sua forma natural, e por este motivo não existem duas peças iguais, podendo no entanto se executar peças com uma composição semelhante.
As peças já estão a ser comercializadas em algumas lojas da ilha, podendo ser adquiridas também mediante encomenda feita por email.
Debaixo do relaxante manto verde da vegetação deste solo, esconde-se o resultado de terríveis guerras ancestrais entre os fluidos ardentes do interior dos vulcões e as profundas águas do oceano Atlântico.
Destas batalhas travadas ao longo de milénios, cresceu a pulso a riqueza geológica que forma a nossa terra.
O basalto, a escória vulcânica e a pedra-pomes incorporados nestas peças são testemunhos da génese destas ilhas.

Under the relaxing mantle of green vegetation of this soil, hides the result of ancient terrible wars between the burning fluids expelled by volcanoes and the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
From these battles fought over the millennia, grew the geological diversity that forms our land.
The basalt, the scoria and the pumice used in these pieces are examples of these islands genesis.

On this page you can enjoy various crafts that incorporate local traditions and materials (S. Miguel - Açores) being the volcanic rock the main element. The rock is chosen and used in its natural form, and for this reason no two pieces are alike. We can however, reproduce pieces to a very similar degree.
The pieces are already in some shops of the S. Miguel island, and can also be purchased by ordering by email.
